Robin Driggers

Robin Driggers, 54, of Sapelo Island , GA passed away Wednesday January 4, 2012. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday January 7, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Sammy Chancey officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery. Frank DiBitetto, Wayne Harris, David Bennett, Terry O’Quinn, Jack O’Quinn, Ricky O’Quinn, Russell O’Quinn, Bill Miller, and Joe Walker will be serving active pallbearers.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm. unitl 8 pm. Friday January 6, 2012 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Robin was born June 6, 1957 in Brunswick, GA to the late Juanita Beard. She had been a resident of Sapelo Island for the past five years. Robin was a graduate of Glynn Academy and was employed by The University of Georgia Marine Institute at Sapelo Island, and was a member of Taylor’s united Methodist Church where she was baptized on November 23, 1973.

Robin loved her family and friends, and was an avid pet lover. She loved being on the water especially the beaches, she also enjoyed collecting shells. She leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.

Survivors include her son Corey B. Driggers and wife Erin, two grandchildren Harry I. Driggers II and Mavry K. Driggers all of Brunswick,her father Leonard Spaulding of Brunswick, her sister Connie Miller and husband Bill of Hiram, GA, her brother Franky DiBitetto of Brunswick, her sister Angel Harris and husband Wayne of Brunswick, and her sister Kara Wainright of Brantley County, two nieces Ashley Clark and husband Jason of Marietta, and Juanita DiBitetto of Brunswick, and four nephews Cody Harris of Brunswick, David James and wife Amy of Florida, Levi James and Dillon Hodge both of Brunswick.
