Born August 6, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio to the late George and Elender Baker, he was a 60 year member of Overton Lodge No. 5 F&AM Rogersville, TN. Mr. Baker attended The University of Tennessee and was a retired business owner. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Brunswick, GA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Baker.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Ann of 46 years, a daughter April of Brunswick, GA, his sons, Brian of Atlanta, and Morgan and wife Darlene of Greenville, TN, Dr. Chris Baker of Knoxville, TN, and four granddaughters, Bella, Brianna, Melissa, and Callie, and a sister Sandra (John) of Knoxville, TN.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Teague Cemetery, Sequatchie Valley, TN. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Brunswick, GA at a later date.
