Sandra Faye Jackson

Sandra (Sandy) G. Jackson passed away September 26, 2025. The family is forever grateful for the loving care she received from the staff of Heartland Hospice during the past several months, allowing her to remain in the contentment of her home.

She was born in Douglas, Georgia on May 1, 1945, to the late Julius and Elizabeth Grantham, and was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. She was a 1963 graduate of Glynn Academy High School and married the love of her life, James T. (Buddy) Jackson on November 11, 1963. They had 4 beautiful daughters, Tammy (Tommy) Hamilton, Wendy (Glenn) Erwin, Sandy (Russ) Smith, and Cindy Jackson-Williams (Daryl Williams). She adored being “Nana” to her 7 grandchildren: Bradley (Jamie) Hamilton, Kelsey (Cole) Delaney, Tyler Erwin, Sydney Erwin, Corinne Smith, Micah Williams and Kenley Williams, as well as great grandchildren, Brecken and Brewer Hamilton, and beloved pets, Holli and Roxy.

She worked for many years in outside sales of office supplies and obtained her real estate license in 2001, working as a realtor before retiring in 2008.

She was a member of Upsilon Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, holding numerous offices and developing cherished long-time friendships.

Family and friends will honor her in a Celebration of Life to be held later.
