Tamara Leigh Strickland, 56, of Waynesville, Georgia passed away peacefully at home March 23, 2026. She was born February 19, 1970 to Virginia Ethridge and William Pittman in Hollywood, Florida. She moved with her family to Brunswick where she attended Glynn Academy before going on to pursue a nursing degree from Coastal Georgia Community College in 1997. After serving as a dialysis nurse and other nursing positions, Tammy spent the last portion of her life as a homemaker. Her greatest pride during her life were her children and grandchildren. Tammy is survived by her parents, Virginia Ethridge and William Pittman; her children Nikki (John) Diestel, Robert Hanson, Corbin Baker, and Joshua Strickland; her grandchildren Anna and Matthew Diestel; and siblings Amanda Harvey and Robert Pittman. Services to be held privately.
