I remember being told that Terry was born in star Lake. She was so little she could fit in the nurses hands.

I’m very sorry for the loss of your mom. She was loved by many.

Terry and my friendship spans over 33 years. She was one of a kind in 1987, and unique spin on life just got more ‘Terry’ the older she got. She was artistic; a gifted and talented spin DJ (way before it was cool to be one). She loved helping others; sometimes to the detriment of her own health. She had a fabulous laugh; and didn’t mind laughing at herself. I miss you my ‘bestest buddy’, and I will never forget you.

Terry was my cousin and I always looked up to her, and always loved walking with her and her Dobermans.  She was always kind, always wise and always loved.   She will be missed by many. 

I have so many fond memories of Terry and it would be impossible to list them all.  Her daughter Jennifer and I have been best friends since the age of 12. There were many movies watched, many sleepovers and many late night discussions. Terry was a very smart lady - she  had a Master's degree in Social Work.  She was strong and bold. 
She loved music - feels like an understatement! I remember walls of records - literally floor to ceiling walls of music. I think my love of all types of music came from her.
She was a veteran like me and that made our bond deeper. We'd both served and protected our country. To be a woman in the military was hard during my time but Terry came before and made it a little easier for me. 
 I was supposed to visit Terry on our birthdays (my birthday is the day before Terry's) this year. Corona virus took that from us because I didn't want to possibly bring the virus to her.
She was like a Mom to me. I often asked for her advice. She badgered me to save money for my future (makes me smile now but at the time I was annoyed like any person is at a parent). 

She is loved and will be missed greatly by me.

I do not believe that when someone passes that there are "right" words or that there are "wrong" words but words of love and caring for the grieved. And with that said, it has been almost 30 years since Terry and I were divorced, but during that time we always stayed in touch. And naturally, when we talked, our main discussions were centered around our daughter, Jennifer. None of us are perfect, but Terry must have been close because she instilled her values in our daughter, such as being honest, compassionate with high standards and morals. The list goes on and on but Terry Bomyea was one of a kind. I, along with her friends and family members will miss her. God bless you Terry and enjoy the here after. 

Terry was a loving sister, who really cared for others.   She was a bit of a tomboy growing up and had a mischievous side to her.  She liked to laugh.  She always loved animals, especially dogs.  She enjoyed music and her Atlanta Braves!

As a teen I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin. I was teased and bullied often. The first birthday party I was ever invited to was for Terry’s daughter. From the time I met her she made me feel like I was someone who mattered. She always had an ear to listen and a heart to offer guiding advice. Her words helped me to become the person I am today. She will be missed. 

I met Terry years ago in Asheville,N.C. She was one of the few female DJs I ever knew.Very talented n intense about anything she did.We put a water pump in her car n realized girls can accomplish alot if they just try.I know her daughter will miss her.Prayers to her n all that love her. RIPower 

I  Met Terry when she was living in Bakersville N.C. I remember her warning me that the geese would pinch me if they got half a chance.  She was always kind to me, I will not forget her.  My condolences.


Terry was a beautiful and wonderful woman and I am glad to have met her. My heart and love goes out to Jennifer and the family. 

I remember spending the night with Jennifer and Terry taking us to Walmart to buy junk food and to the movies. She was a good woman and a wonderful mom. 

Terry was my niece.I remember her growing up .She would come to Star Lake and stay with her grandparents..At one time she liked working on cars. Richard and her enjoyed that together.I helped drive her mom to Florida so she could live there.So many memories.She loved her daughter so much. She was way to young to leave her family
