Mrs. Cox was a native of Coffee County and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 73 years. She was retired from the Brunswick Manufacting Co. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.G. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class of the church.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, James Mike Cox.
Survivors are her daughter, Mary Lawana Hunter and a son, James Murry Cox both of Brunswick, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday 12/27/11 in the Northside Baptist Church in Brunswick with Rev. Craig Hartzag officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will members of the Joy Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday night.
