Cory was born in Brunswick on April 10, 1978 and was a graduate of Brunswick High School. He formerly work at Marshside Grill for many years and currently worked for his father’s shop as a welder.
He is survived by his daughter Mallory Spear; his mother Patricia Harris; and step father Tim Lee and his father William Cross; and step mother Robin Cross and his siblings Keith Cross, Justin Lee and step brother Berry Scott Thomas. He is also survived by his two grandmothers, Ann Harris and Marjorie Cross.
Cory loved many, and was loved by many. His big smile would brighten any who he came in contact with. His presence on this earth will truly be missed but those that have gone before will now rejoice and he will be reunited in love and peace.
Cory loved to cook, especially for family, he enjoyed playing golf, in his spare time. He loved going to the lake to be with family and being on the water.
A huge part of Cory was his love of baseball, his high school years were filled with many memories of playing the game. He played for Brunswick High and was one of the best Center Fielders they ever had. He also enjoyed playing summer ball. He played the guitar and had a wonderful voice, we had an old soul. He absolutely loved the Beatle's. He was also a collector of movies, and could recite word for word and in character most all of them.
Cory’s greatest accomplishment he felt was his daughter Mallory, his love for her, we hope will wrap her and keep her and fill her with all the love he had. Rest in Peace.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons.
