William J. Gore, 79, passed away at his home in Belleville, Georgia on March 5, 2025. He was a former Marine and Vietnam Veteran and retired as an employee of the Federal Government after thirty years. Mr. Gore was also a member of the Darien Church of God.
He is preceded in death by his father Alwyn Byrd, his mother Earline Byrd, his brother Nathan Gore, and sister Susan Gore, all of South Carolina.
Mr. Gore is survived by his wife, Vickie Gore of Georgia, daughter, Jackie Howard (Jeremy) and grandson Jacob Howard of Tennessee; sisters Becky Ripley of Virginia and Gloria Rucks of Georgia; and niece Monica Wren of Georgia.
A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Darien Church of God, Darien, Ga, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, in Glennville, Georgia.
