Alan Charles Tyshkewich passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Monday January 12, 2015 at the age of 48 years after a long, courageous battle with MS. Alan grew up loving sports and played hockey and soccer. He followed the Flames until the last few weeks. He was a Journeyman Insulator and worked in that trade until he was unable to because of his illness. Alan loved a good party and was always ready to have a good time. He was also gentle and kind. His courage in the face of a devastating illness was an inspiration to many in the family. Alan’s greatest joy was his three beloved daughters and lately his three grandchildren. Alan is survived and sadly missed by his daughters; Rae, Stacie (Matthew) and Amy (Derek). He also leaves two brothers, Warren and Gerald (Donna); three grandchildren, Jaxon Carter, Alexander Alan and Paisley Grace. He will be forever missed by his Mom, Irene. Alan was predeceased by his father Nick in 1976. The family would like to thank Alan’s family doctor, Dr. Bill Emery; Dr. McGowan, Lori and Kathy from the MS Clinic. Many thanks to Alan’s wonderful caregivers, Lambert, Marianne, Gabby and Kitsuri. Our journey was eased by your kindness and care.
