Allan Thomas Hamer Williams

Allan passed away at home in the presence of his family on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the age of 85. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Marion; daughters Marguerita Williams (Morris) of St. Albert, AB, Sian (Terry) Steppler of Calgary, Marilyn (Ron) Kobe of Medicine Hat, AB, Susan (Denis) Ethier of Qualicum Beach, BC; sons David Williams of Calgary and Darrell Williams (Lynn Atlas) of Ajax, ON as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters June Crawford and Yvonne (Derek) Stacey of England along with many nieces and nephews from England. Allan is predeceased by his mother Lilian Morgan; father David Williams and sister Geraldine Elliott. Allan spent many years as an Auto body Mechanic in Canada. He semi retired and became a Commissionaire and worked at numerous locations including John J. Bowlen Building, Currie Barracks, Jubilee Auditorium, SAIT and his final posting was at the Police Service building in N.E. Calgary. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca
