

Born on October 24, 1958, in Calgary, Alberta, Andy was the beloved son of Paul and Clara Issler. He attended Ernest Manning High School and later pursued a career as a Landman, building a respected career in Alberta's energy industry.
In 1992, Andy met his wife, Claudia. They married May 3, 1996, and together they built a wonderful life and were blessed with two sons, Travis and Adam, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Andy had a lifelong passion for sports and competition. He enjoyed playing hockey, skiing, squash and, above all, cherished his time on the golf course. Golf was not only his favourite pastime but also a source of friendship, enjoyment, and countless cherished memories.
Andy will be remembered for his determination, sense of humor, and devotion to his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Claudia; his sons Travis and Adam; his brother Harry (Dawn); and nephew Shaun and family. Andy was predeceased by his parents Paul and Clara Issler; and his nephew Scott.
In accordance with Andy's wishes, there will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, an organization that was close to Andy's heart.
