Anne Smith

Always and forever in our hearts, Anne is survived by her children Steven and Debbie (Dave), and grandchildren Brennan, Kaitlin (Richard), Dylan, and Jeff.

Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Thomas Roy Smith and her father Ernest Irving.

Anne was a Yorkshire girl through and through, born and raised in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. She married Thomas Roy “Tommy” in 1967 and moved to Canada where she worked and raised a family.

Anne enjoyed and made many friends with parishioners and priests at St. Matthew’s parish in Edmonton over the years. “Sister Anne” as they called her, was also involved in the CWL for over 40 years.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Rockyview and Foothills hospitals, and the Bethany Care Centre for their compassion, kindness, and understanding in the last six months.
