Barbara Fiedler passed away peacefully at Mayfair Care Centre in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Barbara is survived by her children, Karen and Kent; grandchildren, Roxy (Rowen), Anthony and Sara. Barbara was predeceased by her sister Pam. Barbara was born in Olds, AB and graduated from Normal School and Henderson College of Business. She taught for eleven years in Halkirk and Castor, completing her teaching career in Strathmore, AB. Barbara’s final years were spent comfortably at Mayfair Care Centre until her passing. A Funeral Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, in Calgary, AB on Friday, October 22, 2010. Interment followed at Harmattan Church of England Cemetery in Harmattan, AB. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
