Bev Stoddard passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 11, 2025, at the age of 72. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to August and Georgette Georget, she later made Calgary, Alberta her home.
Bev spent the final years of her career at PCL Construction as a Proposal Specialist, where she contributed to the creation of the Arthur J.E. Child Cancer Centre (where she would later receive exceptional care). Her years at PCL brought her treasured friendships that remained close until the end.
In retirement, Bev’s greatest joy was her grandchildren: Liam, Daniel, Kayla, and Carson, who filled her days with love, laughter, and mischief. She cherished morning coffees in her backyard and summers tending her garden, particularly her beloved Shasta Daisies.
Bev will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kimberley (William) and Jennifer, her four grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Service to honour Bev will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL (3220 4th Street NW, Calgary AB) on Tuesday, August 19th at 10:00 A.M. Her final resting place will be in Queens Park Cemetery next to her mom.
Memorial donations in Bev’s name will be gratefully accepted by the Alberta Cancer Foundation via https://albertacancer.ca/donate/.
