Wagstaff, Brenon Philip, loving son of Licia Pickup and Steve Pickup, passed unexpectedly, yet peacefully, in his sleep April 16th, 2016. At 28 years, he was taken from his loving family too early. Brenon was born on September 7th, 1987 in Orangeville, ON. He is survived by his true love, Nikki Banks, his sons Jamie Banks & Liam Wagstaff, his sister Juleya Wagstaff (Liliana), his parents Licia and Steve Pickup, and many other extended family members. He held very close bonds with his best-buds, (Jessica Robinson, Josh McCallum, Kyle Bratz, Nico Lalonde, Arti/Bev and Family, and Jeremy/Tanya Richer and family) who were also considered "family" to Brenon. He was a very proud, loving father to his two beautiful children Jamie Banks (7), and Liam Wagstaff (3), and an amazing uncle to his niece Liliana Brajkovic (8). Brenon had an unconditional and loving zest for life which he carried throughout his years. Many aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents will lovingly remember him at all of the many gatherings on holidays and pool parties at his Oma and Opa's, Patricia and Ralph Gutwald, of Drumheller, AB. Brenon cared deeply for those in his circle of love, especially his only sibling, Juleya, who was his kindred spirit, best friend, and ally growing up and for eternity. Brenon was an extraordinary helping hand and creative thinker, able to embrace his work and society with an unconditional love and exuberance. Always befriending the underdog. Responsibility and loyalty to others is what Brenon stood for, as he wore his heart on his sleeve, his morals and values were unshakable. He was an extremely dedicated, hard worker, and a talented mentor for others in the Framing-construction trade, accomplishing many achievements in his life, including his career as a framer/carpenter, which he took great pride in and developed many life long friendships through. He had many hobbies such as playing a great game of pool, playing hockey, going fishing, crafting with wood, and swimming where he made monumental memories with family and friends. He enjoyed the danger-side of life, leaving caution to the winds, as he long-boarded down steep hills with his buds. His spirit for life will be carried forward through his children. His values around family and friendships are what those who loved him will miss most about him. Brenon will always remain a very special, bright light in the lives of all who knew and loved him. May he always be remembered for his greatness, as he truly was a lasting gift to this world and humanity.
