Bruce spent many years working as a fisherman in Ingonish, Nova Scotia before moving to Alberta, where he lived and worked for 20 years. In retirement, he enjoyed riding his electric bike along Calgary’s many trails and taking in the beauty of nature. Bruce had a special love for animals, especially dogs, who always held a place in his heart.
Bruce is survived by his loving and devoted mother Stella Hardy in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who was always there for him; his daughter Raeann Hardy (Karl Verner) in East Passage Nova, Scotia; and his sister Donna Lynn (Eric) MacLean in Bedford, Nova Scotia. He will be remembered by those who knew him and loved him.
He is predeceased by his father Gordon Hardy.
As per Bruce’s wishes there will be no formal services held.
