Carol Reid-Funk passed away suddenly at her home in Hanna March 4, 2013 at the age of 68 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Ben Funk, her sisters Alice (Milton) Zeeb and Sinaida Danforth. She was predeceased by her parents Julian and Hedwig Cirankewitsch, and siblings Freida Schmike, Bert and Arthur Cirankewitsch and her husband Edwin Reid. She is also survived by children Sheri (Mark), Allan (Mary), Brian (Lynda), Kevin (Shannon), Katherine (Kent), Dean (Theresa), Lloyd (Lori), Sherry (Grant) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Monday March 11th at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 – 14 St NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
