Kay will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda Schaber (David Schellenberg), John Calder (Denise), Pat Calder, Susan Ballendine (Scott), Karen Calder, Sandy Rautenberg (Craig) and Ron Calder (Theresa Herron) 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Kay was born in Bassano, Alberta.
At the age of 20 years, Kay met Jock and they were married on June 21, 1952. They moved to Calgary in 1956 to raise their family. The family extends their thanks to the staff at Bethany Harvest Hills for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life was held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, Calgary on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary, #201, 222 – 58 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
