Cathy passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Bethany Care Centre. Born in Calgary, she attended Queen Elizabeth School and then worked as a key punch operator. Suffering from schizophrenia, she resided at the Claresholm Care Centre for twenty-five years. She was always happy to have visitors and enjoyed crafts, outings, playing the piano, singing and working in the Centre's kitchen. Cathy was kind, generous and had a great sense of humor. She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Mel and by her husband Allan. A Graveside Gathering will be held at Rocky View Garden of Peace, 243208 Garden Road N.E., Calgary, AB on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
