Can't believe it's already a year since we lost Cathy. We have many fond memories of travelling with Cathy and Jack in Canada and the UK when we were able to repay their generosity. Cathy was a superb cook and also had an eye for a bargain as well as invariably finding coins on the pavement/sidewalk wherever we went together. Cathy was good at games - we weren't. 'Nuff said.

Our sincerest condolences to Cathy's family.  We will treasure many fond memories of our dear neighbour - when she lived on Wyandott St, in Chatham,  ON. We always knew her to shine with a wonderful smile and a kind, generous heart!  Neighbours like this don't move into a neighborhood often and are missed when they move away ... even more so when they are gone.

She was my Aunt Cathy, and one of my other mothers when I was a young child. Her home was a place for me to go after school. I loved how she made sure we all had dessert...her pudding in the Tupperware parfait cups was the best! I could count on her to remember my birthday. And I could count on her to be in my corner as someone predictably kind, calm, nurturing, and fun! Thank you Aunt Cathy, for your love, care, and positive influence. Heartfelt Sympathies from the D'Anghera family (Chatham) to the entire Elder clan.  Although we were saddened to learn of Cathy's passing ... Cathy's kindness and laughter are remembered fondly.  Memories of Happy Summer days with gang of kids taking 'swimming lessons' in Jack and Cathy's backyard.  We were always made to feel  welcomed and part of Janice and Rob's extended family. We are so sorry about Cathy's passing. We have great memories of touring parts of Canada with her and Jack. We also enjoyed fun times with them both when they visited us in the UK. We were able to meet some of Cathy's family and you  are all in our thoughts at this time. In loving memory.
