This is such sad news!  Chad was such a fun guy to be around and although I didn't know him for a long time, I enjoyed the time I had with him.  My condolences to all his friends and family.

Chad, taken from us far too soon.  You left us with memories and those will last forever.  You were a great team mate; a true leader.  We had some good times when we were young.  So many fun parties we used to have.  My wife and I still talk about the fun we had back in the day.  We'll raise a glass in your honour today after the service.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts.

Dear Gabora Family,

I am so sorry for your loss my deepest sympathies and condolences. Chad...so many memories of chasing you around the rink all those years. it was such an honor to have played with you. We always shared laughter and good times at parties and as teammates. We even had a few heated moments as opponents ha ha. I am happy you coached you had a lot to offer young developing players. You were always hard to play against a true playmaker and goal scorer. Thank you for being you Chad you are one of a kind. I will never forget that grin... Hockey Bros Forever!

To Amie, Josh and the rest of the Gabora family, please accept our sympathy.  We were very sad to hear about Chad's passing.  He was an awesome coach to the 2011/12 Atom 6 team, taking them through an undefeated season.  Beyond the wins, he taught the kids friendship, fun, and respect for each other and the sport.  We all made wonderful memories that season. His passion for hockey, and excitement to coach was obvious to everyone. We wish you all peace in the days ahead.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Chad's passing. I'm not sure words can fully convey what his friendship taught me or how much it meant to me. He was an amazing friend and talented hockey player, we immediately bonded as teammates on the Bruins. I will always remember fondly the rookie party he hosted, playing basketball at Millennium Park, and our trip to Jasper when we borrowed his Grandpa's Dodge and ran out of gas in Cochrane on our way home. Chad was nothing but the best to me, and I will always think of those years and memories as some of the greatest of my life. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Gabora family. May you find comfort in the knowledge that so many of the lives touched by Chad were enriched by his sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. RIP
