Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba Cheryle made Calgary, Alberta her home as a youth. She had two sons who she loved dearly and unconditionally. Her pride and joy were her two grandsons and her granddaughter. Cheryle really enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends.
If Cheryle wasn’t at Bingo, you would probably find her at her workplace, Niitoiyis Family Support Society formerly Awo Taan Healing Lodge Family Wellness Centre, where she dedicated 15 years of service, helping countless Indigenous families navigate life after crisis. Cheryle loved Christmas, both at work and with her family and she will be forever remembered for her kind heart and gentle words.
Cheryle is sadly missed by her sons Eric Bowers (Samantha) and Richard Bowers (Katie), and grandchildren, Caleb, Jevon, and Avery. She is also survived by brothers Calvin, Bill, and Kevin, father figure Andre Page, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, family members and friends.
Cheryle is predeceased by her mother, Bernice Bowers, sister-in-law, Rosa Bowers, and nephew, Keith Bowers.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
