Colin was born in Winnipeg but spent most of his childhood growing up in Edmonton. In his adult years Colin resided in Bonanza for 22 years where he raised his family alongside Darcy. During Colin’s time in Bonanza he was an avid member of the Bonanza Volunteer Fire Department and the Bonanza Not So Famous Players. Since then Colin and Darcy have relocated to Calgary. Colin enjoyed travelling, entertaining friends and family and mentoring his community. He had many passions in his lifetime; however, it was his love for his family that was most important to him.
