It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Denzel Pausang passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the age of 23 years. Denzel was born in the Philippines, and moved to Canada with his family when he was 10 years old. As a young boy, he has shown competitiveness in sports like hockey and soccer, where he earned awards and achievements. Denzel enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, and tinkering with his truck. As a typical millennial, he also enjoyed going to festivals with his friends. Denzel was a diligent student and was pursuing to be an electrician. As an apprentice, he was a hard worker and proud of his projects. Denzel was loved by everyone because of his genuine, kind, sweet, caring, and dependable personality.

Denzel is lovingly remembered by his parents William and Rowena; his siblings Yllamar, Cham, Joanne, Hazel, and Klyde; his grandparents, who helped raise him, Conrado and Clarita; his uncles Robert, Ricky, and Randy; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers.

A private service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery).
