He is sadly missed by his Mom and Dad; brothers, Albert and Ben and sister, Priscilla. Derek was a very special man who devoted most of his life helping others. He was a believer in Christ as well as a family oriented young man. Derek was also the friendliest, most thoughtful, generous, humble, respectful, loving, caring and unselfish person we have known. As a son and brother to his family, Derek was a bright light that never turned off in the house. His life was shortly lived, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Derek may your soul rest in perfect peace in the hands of the LORD.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Beddington Pentecostal Church, 16 Bermuda Drive, N.W., Calgary on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Beddington Pentecostal Church on Saturday, December 7, 2013 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Williams officiating.
