Dilys passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her loving husband Dave of 46 years; children Elizabeth (Shawn), Andrew (Tracy) and David (Lorelei); grandchildren Courtney, Brandon, Christine (Thomas), Steven and one great grandchild Kayli. Dilys is also survived by her sister Barbara (David) Graves. She is predeceased by her parents Hilda and Kenneth; sisters Pat and Wendy. Dilys was loving, caring and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She worked for the school board with special needs children. A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Rosedale Hospice 920 – 7A Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2M 3J3.
