With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of a remarkable woman whose most cherished roles were those of loving nana, mother, and aunt. Born in Rosario, Argentina, she immigrated to Canada and quickly embraced her new homeland with open arms, making it her own with gratitude, warmth, and a spirit that never forgot her roots.
She was a woman of many gifts. Artistic in every sense, she expressed her creativity through painting and by making clothes just by looking at a person, bringing colour and beauty into the lives of those around her. Her greatest masterpieces were the love she poured into her family and the joy she shared so freely.
Predeceased by her first husband, Juan; her son, Fernando; and her second husband, Jack - she remained a constant source of strength and affection. As a devoted nana, mother, tia, and friend, she nurtured those she loved with patience, humour, and an unwavering heart. Her sense of humour, her kindness, her love of singer Tom Jones, Kevin Bacon/Footloose, visiting Las Vegas, as well as James Bond movies, and her unique Argentinian way, will be remembered always.
She will be deeply missed by all who grew up around her, especially her daughter Fabi; granddaughter Noaah; son-in-law Paul; her niece Carla (Adam); nephew Raphael (Marie); and their children. Her loving ways and wonderful sense of humour leave an imprint that time cannot erase. Though she is no longer with us in body, the warmth of her spirit continues in the family and friends she held so dear.
