Elizabeth Ann Quinton (nee Hamilton), lovingly known by all as Babe, passed away peacefully January 14, 2003, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 66 after unexpected complications from cancer related surgery, surrounded and comforted by her husband of 39 and a half years, Robert (“Bob”); her daughter Rhonda; her son Brent; her son-in-law Gord Kehler; as well as the prayers and caring thoughts of many other family and friends, both near and far. She lived her entire life in Calgary, having been born to a pioneering family with roots in this city stretching back to the late 1800s. Babe, known for her grace, elegance and strong spirit, will be so sadly missed by Bob, Rhonda and Gord and their daughter Victoria (not to mention the one on the way), Brent and daughter-in-law, Allison, brother, Guy (Nib) and sister-in-law, Jan Hamilton and family, as well as all the other very special family and friends that had come in to her 66 wonderful years of life. Babe is now being warmly embraced by those that have gone before, including her parents, Guy and Agnes Hamilton. Thank you so much to Dr. Lackman, Dr. Stuart, Dr. Ghatage, Dr. Viner, Dr. Pereira and especially Dr. Scot Dowden, Carol and Wendy for the extraordinary energy and care so compassionately given Babe as she faced her final challenge.
