Elliot is survived by his mother; Christy Siver-Van Wynsberghe and his father; Josh Van Wynsberghe, along with his grandparents; Toni and Dan Van Wynsberghe, and Randy and Darlene Siver. He is also survived by his aunts; Carly Siver-Leong and Erica Shea, as well as his uncles; Dan Siver, Justin Van Wynsberghe, Kurt Leong and Trent Shea.
Elliot was born in Red Deer, Alberta but grew up on an acerage outside Eckville. He had a wonderful childhood quadding, hiking and swimming and enjoyed many weekends at his Nana and Papa’s house in Cochrane, Alberta. Even through sickness Elliot was passionate about helping others and was a proud ambassador for the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Elliot also loved animals and would be so proud of his Miracle Wish Foundation in support of the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and the Rotary Flames House for their kindness and support in Elliot’s final days.
