Elsbeth was born in Germany in 1927 to Walter and Elisabeth. She met husband Herman, and they were married in 1947. They immigrated to Canada in 1953 with their son Hans. Their second son Charles was born a few years later. She lived and worked in the Montgomery area in Calgary, where she operated a beauty salon for many years.
Elsbeth is survived by her son Charles (Debbie) Pollhaus, daughter-in-law Inga Pollhaus, grandchildren; Veronica Pollhaus, Cathy (Shawn) Olszewski, and Eric Pollhaus, great grandchildren; Jamie Oullette, Sheldon Oullette, and Taija Olszweski. She was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1998, son Hans in 2023, parents and siblings in Germany.
The family will hold a private celebration of life.
