Emelia Chodak passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on Sunday, July 10, 2011. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Carl (Christine) and Bill (Tina); daughters, Ellie, Alma (Ken) and Linda (Lyle); her eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Emelia is also survived by her brothers, Albert, Alec and Alfred; and sisters, Linda, Alma, Erna and Lily. She was predeceased by her son Bob, parents Mary and Edward Frick, her twin sister Amanda and brothers Bernard, Walter and Alvin. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Emelia’s name directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta #200, 119 – 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
