Emilija passed away suddenly in her home on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Calgary, AB. With broken hearts and deep sadness our family announces the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother and wife. She was born on February 1, 1946 in Knzevci, Prek Murje Slovenia. Emilija came to Canada in 1966 to join Josef Vogrincic and they were soon married.
Her love for her garden, flowers, cats and most of all her grandchildren, will be forever with us. “We will miss you Mom! You were always there to take care of everyone else before yourself.”
Emilija will be loving remembered by her husband Josef; daughters Wendy Vogrincic (Nicholas Broskovich) and Diana (Mario) Signorile; grandchildren Nicholas and Marina Broskovich and Lorenzo and Adrian Signorile.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, AB (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:00pm. Entombment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
