It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Erich Fech on November 30, 2024. Erich was born on August 30, 1930, in Turza Wilza, Poland and passed away in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 94 years.
Erich is survived by Adele, his loving wife of 69 years; children Rosemarie (Gregory) Fox and Reinhard (Dianne) Fech; grandchildren Christina (Cameron) Turner, and James (Sarah) Fox; great grandchildren Evan Turner, Lauryn Turner, Maya Turner, Alyssa Fox, and Makayla Fox; and by his brother Oscar, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Emil and Olga, sisters Ursula, Martha, and Helene, and brother Leo.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 St N.W., Calgary, on December 09, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 St N.W., Calgary, on December 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Erich’s memory to a charity of your choice.
