Esther Raven passed away at the Santauri Hospice in Calgary, AB on Friday, October 19th, 2012 at the age of 52 years. She is survived by her son Cody; mother Lorraine; brothers Craig (Carole), Perry, Allan (Sue) and Lyle; nephews Joey, Dylan, Devyn and Colyn; niece Courteney; best friends Angie (Alex) Cheslock and family, Mark Sommer, Rita (Garry) Knittle and numerous other good friends. Esther is predeceased by her father Floyd. A Memorial Gathering will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. An additional Service will be held at a later date in Val-Des-Monts, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to either the Canadian Cancer Society (Suite 200 – 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary AB, T2E 2P5) or the Canadian Diabetes Association (1400 – 522 University Avenue, Toronto ON, M5G 2R5).
