She was born on October 18, 1927 in Nova Scotia and her family was the love of her life.
She is survived by her three children; Mike (Debbie) Topp, Patt (Robert) Wallace, Peter Topp; her step-son Michael (Marion) Wandzura; her nieces Jenny and Debbie; and her nephew Bob. She was extremely proud of her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Wandzura, grandson Derek, her sisters Alice Smith and Trudy Clark, her niece Bev, as well as her parents Mae and Cecil Cruickshanks.
Eva was of strong faith and a practicing Christian. She was a very social person who loved being involved in her church groups, lodge events and circle of friends. She loved playing scrabble with her grandchildren, her crosswords and search-a-words, and she also loved to watch curling and figure skating.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Eva’s memory directly to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation (609 14 St NW, Calgary, AB T2N 2A1).
