Mrs. Florence Perl

Florence was a bright light, and the world seems to be dimmer with her passing. In her lifetime, Florence nurtured many with her compassion, understanding and her ability to be there to listen. She brought joy with her playfulness and willingness to have fun.

Florence is lovingly remembered by her daughters Karen (Ron) and Gloria (Joe) and her son Cy (Cindy), six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her sister Hilda and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband Michael; daughter Judith (Don); siblings Alf; Sylvia; Rudy and Mart.

Many thanks to the staff at the Agapé Hospice who cared for Florence, helping to ensure her final days were as peaceful and as comfortable as possible. Many professionals at the Foothills Hospital also cared for Florence in the past several months. Their compassion was deeply appreciated.

A Celebration of Life for Florence Perl will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Fosters Garden Chapel (3220 – 4 Street NW). Interment will be a private family ceremony in the spring.

The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption. Indoor masking is to be observed.
