Maureen Francis Stevenson, lovingly known as “Auntie Moe,” will be remembered for her generous heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering care for others.
Maureen was a devoted servant of God and a faithful member of the Catholic Faith. Maureen’s committed faith to service led her to open her home and heart as a foster parent, providing a safe, welcoming space during times of crisis. Her compassion and steadiness offered comfort to those who needed it most, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.
Maureen’s dedication to helping others extended into her community as well as her church. Maureen loved to travel. Cruise travel and beach vacations were her favourite way to escape the winter, finding warmth, rest, and happiness in those experiences.
Maureen is survived by her husband Calvin Stevenson, her son Chance and many other family and friends whose life Maureen touched.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Maureen on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Parish.
