Frank Rizzuto passed away in Calgary, AB on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
Frank was born on April 1, 1926 in Rogliano, Cosenza, Italy. He is survived by his daughter, Luisa Rizzuto (Enzo Sperandeo); granddaughter, Giada Sperandeo of Sicily; brothers Pietro (Assunta), Guerino (Brenda), Battista (Suzanne) and Charlie (Carlene); sisters, Maria and Rosa; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as long-time companion, Sue Garner. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Luisa and Vincenzo Rizzuto and brother, Rosario Rizzuto.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 200, 119 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
