George Maxwell Collins passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the age of 76 years. George is survived by his sisters Marian and Margaret, brothers Paul (Janice) and Kenneth Wayne (Claudia), stepchildren David (Susan) and Tamara, eight grandchildren, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Linda, siblings Murray, Patricia, Frieda-Loraine, and Ross and his granddaughter Tatiana. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks to his nephew Terry O’Flaherty for everything he and his family did in taking such good care of George. While George will be dearly missed his family takes comfort knowing that all the pain and suffering is gone and he has left us to walk hand in hand with his dear wife Linda. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (Across from queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 310 – 5160 Décarie Blvd, Montreal, QC H3X 2H9.
