Gerri was born on July 24, 1947, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She met the love of her life, Stan while in high school and they dated for a few years before they married in 1971 . They
began building their family in 1973, creating a life rooted in love, commitment and devotion to one another.
Gerri worked for the Saskatchewan Provincial Government in Health Services for a number of years. After the birth of her two sons, she chose to focus her time and energy on caring for her family, working at home and dedicating herself to raising her boys and supporting Stan. Family was always at the center of her life.
In later years, Gerri and Stan shared a love of travel and time together. They enjoyed picnicking in Banff and Kananaskis, travelling across Canada, and visiting abroad, making a lot of cherished memories along the way.
Gerri is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Stan; her sons Trevor (Lesley) and Ryan; her sister Eileen (Foster); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Celebration of Gerri’s life will take place at a later date.
