Gertrud is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Joshua) Weiss, and Michelle (Jonathan) Hein; grandsons, Andrew and Jude Hein; her sister, Alice (Albert) Fried; nephews, James (Victoria) and son Alexander, Justin (Shelley), and a very loving and supportive extended family. She was grateful for the support of her church family and friends, and truly loved you all.
A Celebration of Life for Gertrud will be held at Renfrew Baptist Church, 1204 Renfrew Drive N.E., Calgary on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Gertrud may be made directly to Samaritan’s Purse, 20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, AB T3J 5H5.
