Gilbert is survived by his wife, Dolores of 67 years and his four children, Charlotte, Wendy, Maureen, and Darby.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Arlene.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 3 p.m.
