

Gord was born and raised in Calgary, AB. He attended the University of Calgary obtaining his degree in accounting. He pursued a career in accounting, first at the Canada Revenue Agency and later with Husky Oil Operations Ltd. His final position was Manager of Taxation at Greyhound Canada.
Gord was passionate about golfing which then led him to volunteer at local golf courses around Carstairs supporting junior golf. He was an exuberant sports fan, and for many years was a supporter of the Calgary Flames.
Gord loved animals and in particular, his two dogs he had over the years, Trader and Samson.
Gord is survived by his nephew, JD (Pam) Frame; niece, Jennifer (David) Williams; and great-niece, Ella Frame of Chilliwack, BC; and great-nephews, John Williams and Jamie Williams of Toronto, ON.
Gord was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Leota Frame of Calgary, AB and brother, Jim Frame of Chilliwack, BC.
Although Gord spent his life as a bachelor, he was never without the friendship and support of his many long-time Calgary friends and neighbors in Carstairs. Their kindness, companionship, and willingness to lend a hand meant a great deal to Gord and were deeply appreciated by both him and his family.
Cremation has taken place.
Gord requested no memorial service, and his remains will be interred in the family plot at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
