Gord is lovingly remembered by his wife Sherry; sons Tyler and James; his brothers Rob, Neil (Nancy) and sister Jeanette and loving extended families and friends...and last, but not least, his best friend and beloved dog Tika. He was predeceased by his loving parents Bob and Jean. Gord’s love of hot rods, motorcycles, boats and all things mechanical, led him to a long career with CP Rail. Friends and colleagues are well aware of Gord's enjoyment of setting up mischievous pranks and practical jokes, but above all he will be fondly remembered for his sincere interest in their individual lives and well-being.
A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday July 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
