Grace Anderson Bibby

December 5th, 1922 - February 25th, 2012

Margaret "Grace" was born at home in East Calgary, on Monday, December 5th, 1922 to Jerrold and Agnes Simpson. She is survived by her children; Gordon (Sharon) of Nanaimo, B.C., Susan (Dennis) Bowers of Calgary and Stephen (Wesley) of Calgary. Grace is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; Crystal (Brent) Edwards of Lantzville, B.C., Holly (Dan) Morrison of Port Moody, B.C., Shane (Jen) Bowers of Cranbrook, B.C., Shanna-Leigh (Scott) Smith of Calgary and Colt Bibby of Airdrie; 12 Great Grandchildren; Jada, Rhys, Darius, Kiyah, Nadan, Brooke, Braleigh, Conner, Ryan, Kaori, Kate and Kelsey. Also left to mourn are Daughter-in-Law; Cheryl Davison-Bibby of Airdrie, one brother; Donald (Florence) Anderson of Calgary, one sister; Gretta Moore of Regina, Sister-in-Law, travel companion, golf, bridge and "Spite and Malice" partner and best friend Sadie Anderson; special niece and friend Raynelle (Dave) McNab of Canmore; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends on the "Links", Senior's community and Church in the Bow Corridor.

The family wishes to express their thanks to all the folks at the Bow River Lodge, Canmore Regional Hospital, Rockyview General Hospital, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints .......and Raynelle.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with interment immediately following at Canmore Cemetery. Those wishing to attend a short graveside service, please meet at the cemetery gates at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 204, 2323 – 32 Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3 or The Sharp Foundation, Box 172, #2, 3012 - 17th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2A 0P9.
