Harry was born on September 1, 1931, in Otterberg, Germany. He lived a courageous life, going through difficult times during the war and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Through it all, he remained positive, worked hard and his strength of character persevered, leaving family and friends with many fond and loving memories. Harry was generous, joyful, creative and ambitious. He became an astute businessman and a prominent and enterprising real estate developer.
Mourning his loss are his son, Richard of Calgary; daughter-in-law, Tricia and grandson Caelan of Vancouver; sister, Ingeburg of Calgary; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harry was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (2020); an infant daughter (1956); son, Asim (Dieter) (2009); son, Peter (2021); father, Walter (1992), and mother, Christiane (2002).
A private funeral service will be held to honour a life well lived.
