

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Harry Thys, who left us at the age 75. Harry is survived by his devoted wife Elaine, her children; Stacey and Scott (Aimee), grandson Levi, sister Saskia, nephew Dan (Pam), nieces; Dawne (Scott) and Franki, and cherished great nieces and nephews that will dearly miss “Gruncle Harry”.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Harry was a beloved family man who created a loving and welcoming home for all, family, and friends alike.
Harry dedicated a remarkable portion of his life to the roofing industry, leaving an indelible mark on colleagues and friends. His unwavering commitment and expertise elevated him to a respected position within the community. Harry’s career spanned decades, during which he played a crucial role in shaping the roofing industry in Alberta. His passion for the craft was evident in every project he undertook and his meticulous attention to detail.
Harry leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a deep sense of respect and responsibility. His generosity touched the lives of many people, creating bonds that will endure beyond his physical presence. We will always miss you, and will always remember you…
A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at a later date.
