Howard "Harold" Breidon passed away peacefully in Calgary on May 23, 2012, at the age of 87 years. Harold is survived by his loving wife Shirley, daughters Maureen Podperyhora (John deceased) and Susan Loeffler (Mike), both of Calgary, and son Peter (Laura) of Mississauga, as well as 7 beloved grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Harold grew up in Verdun, Quebec, and at age 19, joined the army to serve as a dispatch rider in WWII. He returned home to Montreal and worked as a sprinkler fitter until retirement. He moved with Shirley to Calgary in 1998.
