Hugh James Frewin

Jim Frewin passed away on Saturday October 1, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Jim will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life Millie, whom he married February 15, 1947. Jim is also survived by his children, Russ (Tracey) Frewin and Sandy (Randy) Ogilvie; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) Ogilvie, Brandon (Christine) Ogilvie, Melissa Ogilvie, Amber (Jason) Legacy, Sharla Smith and Jordan Frewin. Jim was also a very proud great- granddad to Kieran, Carter, Ryley and Lucas; he also leaves many nieces, nephews and sister-in- laws. Jim was predeceased by his father and mother, Alfred and Nellie Frewin; brothers, Horace (Buster), Peter, Harold (Toby); sisters, May, Hazel Augusta (Gussie) and Grace. Born and raised in Calgary, Jim's greatest love was his family. He loved family get-togethers, and was always fun to be around with his wonderful sense of humour. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation directly to a worthy cause of your choice.
