Born In Brampton, Ontario raised in Kitchener/Waterloo Region until 1970. He spent the next 25 years in Toronto, before spending the remainder of his life in Calgary, Alberta.
James is lovingly remembered by his wife Pauline Patton, their son Robert, and daughter Elizabeth (Trevor) King, and his three grandchildren, Taylor, Brody and Devin.
He affectionately loved his family and was a passionately devoted fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
At James's request, there will be no funeral service though cremation will take place.
